ABOUT the Program
Mini Montessori is a home-based preschool program for children ages 3 through pre K. We offer morning and afternoon sessions that offer Montessori education in a small, intimate home-care setting.
Mini Montessori offers educational child-care that focuses on practical life, language, math, reading and sensorial activities.
Montessori education is focused on the education of the whole-child and gives attention to child-directed learning. Each session will only cater to 5 children at a time, which allows for social exploration in a small, intimate enviroment. Throughout the day, your child will explore self care, care of the environemnt, pre-reading and many more basic Montessori activities.
About the Teacher
My name is Carmen Mendoza. I have been working in Montessori Education on and off for about 19 years. I hold my AMS American Montessori Education certification from the Amercian Montessori Society. I also hold my Large Center Director Licence for the State of Colorado. I have taught Preschool through Elementary, but my true passion is in Preschool! I hold my Undergraduate Degree from Regis University in Communications, and am currently working on obtaining my Masters in Healtcare Administration with an emphasis on Lactation Consulting. I have two girls of my own and we enjoy hiking, riding our bikes and participating in Theater Productions.
